Our Programs
Downtown United Soccer Club (DUSC) is the most comprehensive soccer club in NYC. Serving approximately 5,000 participants annually in Downtown Manhattan and the greater NYC area, DUSC offers programs for players of all ages, genders and backgrounds. Whether starting out in our mini ballers Classes (Beginning at Age 3), or participating in our highly competitive U23 Men’s or Women’s teams, our professional staff offer programs for all stages of development and interest.
Rec League
The Recreation league offers an opportunity for young players to build friendships, develop community and build a passion for the game through friendly competition. The program is managed by our professional soccer staff with years of experience in youth development, however all teams are coached by parent volunteers. We offer guidance to volunteer coaches to support a positive learning environment.
Classes
Are you just starting out and want to learn new skills? Are you a seasoned player looking for repetition and refining one’s skills? Good news! For both types of players, Classes are a great way to participate at DUSC.
Classes are designed to improve a player’s fundamental soccer skills in a small group environment. All classes are taught by our professional coaching staff teaching the “DUSC Way”. Players may be split into groups based on ability.
Camps
Join us for a camp experience full of fun, soccer, fitness and friendship. DUSC Camps have a reputation of being some of the best soccer camps in NYC. With over 25+ years of experience, our staff facilitate a love for the game through a combination of skill work and ball mastery, coordination and movement activities and small sided games in a positive and supportive environment. Open to all players.
Developmental League
Offered for players U9–U12, by invitation only. Managed by a professional coaching staff, our D League program is geared towards:
- The D League can be a bridge from Recreation League to Academy program for those interested.
- Players are gradually introduced to a more competitive environment and a greater commitment level.
- Players and parents get to experience travel soccer at a local level within NYC with less commitment than our academy, if they so choose.
Academy
Offered for players U7–U19. Managed by a professional coaching staff, our Academy is geared towards the complete development of high level players looking to progress to the collegiate level and beyond.
Former DUSC players have gone on to compete for professional academies, US Youth National Teams, and collegiate programs across Division I, II, III and Junior College. We are proud of our player pathways and treat each player with respect and value our relationships.
Women's Professional Pathway
Offered for elite level women players looking to extend their opportunities beyond our youth Academy
MEN'S U20-U23
Offered for players U20–U23. Managed by a professional coaching staff, our adult teams are geared towards creating extended playing opportunities for collegiate athletes on university break and players hoping to transition to the professional level.
