Denise Wilson was appointed to the Felician women’s soccer staff in January 2021, in time for the Golden Falcons’ spring 2021 season. That campaign was abbreviated and repositioned from the fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She enters her first collegiate coaching position.

Wilson is the director of girls’ soccer for the Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex in New York, N.Y. She spent six years with the New York Red Bulls’ Youth Development Program as a coach and camp director.

Wilson was a four-year starter for Division-I Louisiana Tech University. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in business marketing and sociology from Louisiana Tech in 2012. The following year, she was included in the player selection pool of Sky Blue F.C. of the National Women’s Soccer League.

Wilson possesses a United Soccer Coaches Premier License and a USSF C coaching license and is currently working towards USSF B license. She resides in New York City.

A good coach is one who helps his players maximize or discover their potential. That is his principal function.
