Just Crew It! Rowing for Global Youth Soccer
Boat Race Fundraiser at Pier 40 on the Hudson River

EVENT: Downtown United Soccer Club Soccer Recycle Project is partnering with Village Community Boathouse and Cockroach Club eXchange to present Just Crew It!, a fundraising boat race on the Hudson River at Pier 40.
PURPOSE: To support youth from disadvantaged communities in emerging markets around the world by using soccer as a medium for teaching confidence, self-improvement, and community building.
PARTICIPATE: Registration opens Monday, July 30th. Form your own team of four, or join as an individual. Create your personal webpage using our easy-to-use templates, then let all your friends, family and co- workers know you are participating in this event and invite them to sponsor you. There will be both team and individual prizes in various categories including:
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place race winners
- Best Costumes
- Most Money Raised
Prizes include:
- Venetian Sunset Row on the Hudson
- NY Red Bulls soccer tickets
- Restaurant Gift Certificate(s)
- Yoga class, gift cards, T-shirts and more!
SPONSOR: Now accepting corporate or individual sponsorship of basic costs for the event. Display your logo or corporate banner at the event and on promotional materials in exchange for underwriting basic costs.
ADOPT: Want to participate but prefer not to row? Show your support by “adopting” a firefighter or police officer and solicit donations on their behalf.
DONATE: Donate prizes such as event tickets, travel packages, gift cards. Also accepting donations of food and supplies for a post-race BBQ.
VOLUNTEER: Sign up to row, fundraise on behalf of a team, help organize the event, get the word out, come cheer on the teams,.... Just Crew It!
